The Truth About New Years Resolutions!

Looking forward to 2020?

At the end of EVERY year, we recap on whether or not the year was a “good” one and we write down everything we will do in the following year to ensure it is better than the last. While I do believe this can be extremely therapeutic, it is however unrealistic considering how you write these resolutions. Saying things like “I will lose 40 pounds this year” or “I will travel to 5 countries this year” sounds great (I wish that could all happen in a year), but you’re most likely not considering your specific circumstances such as your level of willingness or financial capacity. If you are not honest about yourself, your habits and abilities you set yourself to be disappointed every year. On this episode of a Dose of Fresh Air (premieres on New Years Eve) I will be breaking down the flaws of the New Years Resolutions concept and giving insight on how to better write them down if you would like to continue doing so.

Tune in Tuesday, December 31st, to check out the last episode of 2019!

Seek patience and passion in equal amounts. Patience alone will not build the temple. Passion alone will destroy its walls.
