How to Cope With Being an Empath

An empath is considered to be someone who has the ability to take on the emotions of others and feel them as if they where their own. Speaking as someone who is an empath herself, I can attest that not only is this true, but also DRAINING. I’ve had days where I allowed far too many emotions to transmit through me that I literally become emotionally and physically exhausted.

Living an “average” life fro an empath is difficult. For example, at work you are expected to get things done with little to no emotion involved, but that is impossible for an empath that has to interact with people (clients) whether that be in person or on the phone. We. Feel. EVERYTHING. With that being said, I have complied a list of a few tips to help my fellow empaths cope with this aspect of yourselves. Being an empath has no real cure BUT it doesn’t have to control your life.
