They say “you are what you eat”, well what if I said, “you are what you consume on social media?” Spending more time online compared to real life is actually becoming normal. People are now learning to simply just live their lives vicariously through others. The truth of the matter is that these “influencers” you follow sacrifice a lot to portray life on social media. Most of the time this “glamorous” life you see is not all that wonderful after all. It’s time to develop a healthier relationship with social media and actively choose what we consume.
