When is enough, ENOUGH? BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Say their names!

This one has to be the hardest pill to swallow. Another black man is dead at the hands of law enforcement, but this time it hit different. It hit differently because the footage is clear as day: NO weapon, NO resistance, NO threat, NO reason to take this mans life! And let’s be clear I am sure the many others who died at the hands of corrupt cops had no reason to die either, but these images CONFIRMED what we suspected all along. The racial divide in the country is too obvious to go unnoticed and we ain’t having it no more. If we work within this system and pay our taxes, why are we the only group of people who don’t get what they pay for? If you don’t keep up your end of a bargain what do you expect will happen? Of course people are going to protest for their rights because if not you’ll continue to abuse their silence, it is common sense! Now I know it is easy to feel very frustrated and hopeless during these times but I am here for you.

On this episode of a Dose of Fresh Air, I aim to feed some light into your souls in the mist of so much darkness. This is not the time to give up on each other nor our faith, on the contrary, this is the best time to unite and believe. George Floyd’s passing is the beginning of a long awaited change and we must stay focused through it all.

I want to add that I am a Afro-Latina who has directly seen what it means to be treated differently because of my race and ethnicity so this is also my fight. I urge my fellow Latinos to become aware of this as well because many of you tend to turn the blind eye, convinced that this doesn’t apply to you because you are not black. . . Well let me tell you something: all lives won’t matter until BLACK LIVES MATTER. Plain and simple.

REST IN POWER TO EVERYONE WHO WAS KILLED FOR SIMPLY BEING BLACK IN AMERICA.

Sending you love and light
